I plan on another post to tell you about my pleasant Thanksgiving weekend in Vermont with the Vermont side of my family. But first things first.
Last Monday marked the beginning of the use of cameras in the NYC bus lanes that will send $115 tickets to non-bus drivers inappropriately using the lanes (for example, it is okay to go into it if you are about to turn onto another street as long as you do so within a block).
Today, I saw a bus with a sign that said that there are cameras and you will be fined, etc. However, it also ended with a statement that sounds unintentionally chilling: "Smiling won't help you."
Tag line to a horror movie. A horror movie in which you drive in the wrong lane and get fined $115.
